Dr. Brendan Csaposs is in his fourteenth year in education, serving as the Global Lead for Academic Operations with Nova Pioneer Schools in Nairobi and Johannesburg. A graduate with a Bachelors Degree in LGBTQ Studies from Hobart College, he has long been drawn to the queer aspect of diversity & inclusion, bringing this focus into his work of 14 years in education to date.
Prior to this, he helped found two public charter primary schools serving historically underserved students in Baton Rouge, LA, and spent nearly a decade working as a special education teacher and school leader in high-need schools across the country. Brendan earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the George Washington University, and a Doctorate in Adult Education from the University of Arkansas.
Throughout his career as an educator, professor, community organizer, and even candidate for public office, Brendan has always believed in the power of love & high expectations to help children change their world, and more importantly, building a world that is more equitable and inclusive of all.
